About Distinctive Speech and Language Services Distinctive Speech serves individuals, families, groups, and the general public through involvement in a broad range of professional activities. We work to improve speech, voice, language, communication, swallowing, and other related matters. We offer screening to identify, assess, diagnose, refer, and provide treatment and intervention, including consultation and follow-up services to persons of all ages. These services include accent reduction, DPNS swallowing therapy, expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, and treatment of ADD, ADHD, aphasia (and other stroke related disorders), dysphagia (swallowing disorders), tongue thrust, stuttering, and voice and auditory processing disorders. Vision and hearing screenings are also available. Distinctive Speech also provides hippotherapy sessions on horseback.
